Livingstone, Zambia

Livingstone is becoming an increasingly popular destination for international conferences due to an excellent selection of modern conference and events centers.

Just a short drive from the falls, you’ll find plenty of world-class options to host your event.

 

Radisson Blu Mosi-Oa-Tunya, Livingstone Resort

The 4*star Radisson Blu Mosi-Oa-Tunya Livingstone Resort offers an exquisite setting for conferences or events in a stunning riverfront location within the serene Mosi Oa Tunya National Park.

The resort boasts 13,390 sq ft (1,244 sqm) of modern meeting and event space, including a main conference hall (capacity 350pax), seven meeting rooms, and an outdoor garden. The event spaces are adaptable, with soundproof partitions and modern decor. Outside the event rooms, attendees can find comfortable lounges and breakaway areas.

For something really special, you can host your event on the Radisson’s private river cruise boat.

Fast, reliable Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the property. Three fantastic on-site restaurants cater to various tastes, with local and international dishes on the menu.

Apart from excellent conferencing facilities, Radisson Blu Resort offers 200 luxury suites and villas. Leisure amenities include outdoor swimming pools, a spa, a gym, a tennis court, a kid’s zone, and a mini-golf course.

Avani Victoria Falls Resort

A short walk from the Falls, Avani Victoria Falls Resort provides a vibrant setting for meetings, conferences, and events. The resort captures the spirit of Africa with its unique architecture and offers a range of facilities to cater to diverse events.

Avani boasts a well-equipped main conference hall that can host up to 500pax in theater style. The main hall opens out into a beautifully adorned hallway bathed in natural light, which opens up into a garden that doubles as an outdoor venue.

You can book the main conference hall or divide it into four separate event spaces.

Avani has 11 more meeting and event spaces throughout the resort, including two African-style “bomas.” These make excellent venues for workshops, exhibitions, and personal events such as weddings.

Every meeting room is air-conditioned and equipped with advanced audio-visual technology. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort, and there’s a dedicated business center on-site.

Avani also includes 212 sleeping rooms, two dining areas, a swimming pool, and natural wetlands and gardens where local wildlife come to drink and graze.

 

Royal Livingstone Victoria Falls Zambia Hotel by Anantara

The hotel doesn’t have a dedicated conference or event venue. However, it’s twinned with the Avani next door, and they share the same location. If you’re attending an event at the Avani, The Royal Livingstone is the perfect place to stay if you want convenience and luxury.

A private boardroom is available, with room for 12pax, if you want a unique meeting venue that exudes an old-world charm and sophistication. For weddings, you can choose between numerous spots within the hotel grounds, including the stunning lawns on the bank of the Zambezi – which can host up to 700 guests.

The Royal Livingstone’s grounds include a sun deck, outdoor pool, riverfront spa, two onsite restaurants, a cozy main lounge, and a stunning veranda. In-house guests also enjoy a private entrance to the Falls, a short walk away.

 

Protea by Marriott Hotel Livingstone​​

The Protea Hotel by Marriott Livingstone is a modern and convenient destination for conferences, corporate events, and meetings, with easy access to the Falls and Livingstone town center.

The hotel has one main 2,260 sq. ft conference hall that can host up to 120pax in a theater or cocktail party configuration. You can also partition the hall in the middle to create smaller event spaces for up to 60 or 70pax.

The hall is air-conditioned and equipped with modern audio-visual technology. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Catering is available, also.

On-site event coordinators can assist in planning and executing successful events, from arranging the necessary equipment to customizing catering options.

Beyond the conference facilities, Protea Hotel Livingstone offers 80 sleeping rooms, a fitness center, an outdoor pool, and an on-site restaurant.

 

Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Victoria Falls town is only meters away from Victoria Falls, the natural wonder – so close, you can feel the spray from the falls in the air as you walk around town.

Its location imbues every conference and event venue with a beautiful atmosphere, blending modern facilities with an air of the exotic.

 

Elephant Hills

Perched atop a hill overlooking the Zambezi River, Elephant Hills Resort is one of Victoria Falls’ premier conference venues. This luxury resort promises a unique experience in a beautiful locale, and a comprehensive suite of conference and event facilities.

Elephant Hills Resort offers seven adaptable meeting spaces that can host events of varied sizes and styles. The Kalala Room, a 294 square meter space that can seat up to 500pax theater and cocktail-style. Two more conference rooms can host up to 120 or 150pax each.

For more intimate gatherings, the two meeting rooms are a perfect choice for up to 50 attendees each. Three smaller syndicate rooms are available for breakout sessions or smaller meetings.

Every conference room at Elephant Hills is air-conditioned and equipped with modern audio-visual technology.

The resort also offers a range of leisure activities like a golf course, spa, and casino. Or attendees can choose to stroll through the expansive gardens, keeping an eye out for the elephants and other wildlife that occasionally graze here.

In the evenings, they can enjoy the spectacular sunsets from the Mapopoma bar looking out over the gardens.

 

The Lookout Cafe by Wild Horizon

The Lookout Café is a unique event venue with breathtaking views of Batoka Gorge from a unique cliff-face location.

The restaurant is divided into two areas: the main dining space and a balcony just below. You can rent a private section for up to 80pax or the entire restaurant for up to 300pax. Both areas offer unobstructed, panoramic views of the Gorge and the Victoria Falls Bridge.

The Lookout Café can be adapted to meet the requirements of any informal function, from casual get-togethers to team off-sites.

A fully-serviced bar and a fantastic menu can cater to most food allergies and dietary restrictions (including vegetarians and vegans).

As an open-air restaurant on top of a cliff, The Lookout Cafe may not suit more formal affairs – but for everything else, it’s a truly unique venue.



Victoria Falls Safari Lodge

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge presents a unique blend of luxury, nature, and world-class conference facilities on a picturesque plateau looking out over Zambezi National Park.

The Lodge has six event spaces: the 100pax Indaba Conference Room, four meeting rooms (15-40pax each), and an open-air amphitheater for 200pax. The indoor venues pay tribute to traditional Africa, with a mix of teak decor and natural light creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The amphitheater is a truly unique space for performances and exhibitions.

A highlight of the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is its integration with the local environment. The conference room features a private deck overlooking a waterhole frequented by local wildlife. Event attendees can also join the Vulture Culture Experience, a conservation effort that provides incredible bird-watching opportunities.

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge offers several on-site dining options, team-building activities, and unique experiences.

In the evening, you can join the legendary Boma Dinner experience – an extravaganza of food, dance, face painting, and music that we attend every time we’re in Victoria Falls.
