Location

Elephant Hills Resort is perched atop a big hill looking down on the Zambezi, with panoramic views of Zimbabwe and Zambia from all sides. It’s so close to the falls you can hear them rumble in the background and feel the mist on your cheeks.

The resort is west-facing, so your conference participants can enjoy stunning sunsets every day of their stay.

On the plains below the hotel, just past the golf range, it’s not uncommon to see herds of elephants grazing and strolling through.

Best of all, Elephant Hills Resort is conveniently situated. It’s only a 5-minute drive away from Victoria Falls, with regular shuttle services provided. Victoria Falls International Airport is only 25 minutes away. And it’s a short commute into town, where you’ll find plenty of excellent shops, restaurants, bars, and a couple of supermarkets.

The strategic location ensures participants enjoy the best of both worlds: a peaceful retreat within nature, with the convenience of a vibrant town nearby and easy access to two international airports.

Versatile Events and Conference Spaces

  • Conference and meeting rooms:
  • Largest capacity: 500pax

The resort has eight conference rooms and meeting spaces, including Kalala Hall, which can host up to 500pax in a theater or cocktail configuration. You can also partition Kalala Hall for smaller, more intimate gatherings.

Capacities in the other meeting rooms range from 14pax to 200pax, depending on the configuration and setup. If you’re seeking a more informal setting, the resort’s landscaped outdoor areas provide a beautiful backdrop for networking events or casual gatherings.

Every event space has high-speed Wi-Fi and the latest AV equipment, ensuring your event runs smoothly. Furthermore, the resort’s dedicated events team will be available throughout your event, ensuring all your needs are met.

World-Class Design and Facilities

Elephant Hills is a distinctive landmark within Victoria Falls. While you can see it from miles, it still blends in with the surrounding scenery.

The architecture encapsulates the essence of Zimbabwe’s cultures and heritage, fusing traditional designs with contemporary touches. Each room is tastefully decorated, providing all the comforts you’ll need during your stay.

The resort’s entrance opens up to the grandeur of the Zambezi River, welcoming you to an experience steeped in natural beauty. The expansive grounds are full of abundant greenery and quiet little corners to escape with a cold drink and soak up the unique atmosphere.

The resort houses three exceptional on-site restaurants: The Samukele Restaurant, Mapopoma Lounge, and the Pool Bar.

Each venue offers a diverse menu with various local and international dishes. The food is truly indulgent, and the portions are generous.

For post-event relaxation, the Pool Bar offers a range of refreshing beverages and cocktails, providing the perfect space for attendees to unwind and network. Mapopoma Lounge provides a stunning vista, with bar stools perched up against ceiling-to-floor windows looking out over the Zambezi and the Zambian plains in the distance.

Daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets are available, presenting an array of choices from European classics to local Zimbabwean delicacies. No matter your event attendees’ dietary preferences or cultural backgrounds, they’ll find something to enjoy.

If any of your participants choose to stay at the resort, they can also relax in the luxuriant private guest lounge.

Leisure

Beyond its outstanding conference facilities, Elephant Hills Resort offers an array of leisure activities: an 18-hole golf course, two tennis courts, a swimming pool, a gym, and a spa.

The golf course isn’t just with golfers – your round might be interrupted for a moment to let some wild buck, warthogs, or elephants walk by.

The resort’s location ensures participants can easily access activities like game drives, river cruises, and guided tours of the Falls. You can book them directly or use the on-site tour desk to arrange everything from guided tours of the Falls and sunset cruises on the Zambezi River to dinner on a 100-year-old steam train.
